Privacy Policy
This policy explains how EnrichAI ("EnrichAI", "we", "us"), a Google Sheets add-on built by Ashish Sharda, collects, uses and shares information when you use it. Contact: support@useenrichai.com.
1. Summary
- EnrichAI only reads spreadsheet data when you click Preview or Run, and only the input columns you selected for the rows being processed.
- That data and your instructions are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate results, which are written back into your spreadsheet.
- We do not store, log, sell or share your spreadsheet contents, and we do not use them for advertising.
- EnrichAI currently uses Gemini's free tier. Under Google's terms, Google may use content sent to its free tier to improve its products, and human reviewers may read it. Do not process confidential, personal or regulated data.
2. Information we access and why

3. Google permissions (OAuth scopes)
spreadsheets.currentonly: read the selected input cells and write results, only in the spreadsheet where you open EnrichAI.script.container.ui: show the EnrichAI sidebar and dialogs inside Google Sheets.script.external_request: send the requested data to the Gemini API (generativelanguage.googleapis.com). EnrichAI is configured to call only that address.userinfo.email: identify your account so the right plan and daily limit apply.
4. Google API Services User Data Policy
EnrichAI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the features you ask for. We do not transfer it except to Google's Gemini API as described here, as needed to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not let humans read it except with your permission (for example, when you send us a support request), for security purposes, or to comply with law.
5. Third parties
Google Gemini API. Data you choose to process is sent to Google's Gemini API, operated by Google LLC under the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service. EnrichAI currently runs on the Gemini API's free (unpaid) tier. For unpaid services, Google's terms allow Google to use submitted content and generated responses to provide and improve its products, and human reviewers may read that content. If we move to Google's paid tier, we will update this policy and the in-app notice.
Google Workspace / Apps Script. EnrichAI runs on Google's infrastructure, and Google's own privacy policy applies to your use of Google Sheets.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking services in the add-on.
6. Where EnrichAI is available
While EnrichAI runs on the Gemini API's free tier, it is not offered to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.
7. Data retention and deletion
- Spreadsheet contents are never retained by EnrichAI. Results stay in your spreadsheet until you delete them.
- Your usage count holds only a date and a number and is overwritten each day. Your privacy acknowledgment holds only a version label.
- Paid-plan records (hashed email, plan, limit, expiry date) are kept while you have a plan and deleted on request.
- To ask about or delete data associated with you, email support@useenrichai.com. You can also uninstall EnrichAI and remove its access at any time from your Google Account's Security → Third-party apps & services page.
8. Security
Data travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. The AI service key is stored server-side and is never exposed to users. Access to the add-on's configuration is limited to the developer.
9. Children
EnrichAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above. For material changes, EnrichAI will ask you to review the updated notice in the sidebar before you continue.
